WANTED: towbar for S2 hatch (Berline)

Post by Old-Guy » Wed Nov 26, 2025 9:30 am

Does anyone know if there are any differences in towbars between S1 & S2, estate & hatch.

It may seem like sacrilege, but I have a ½T trailer for taking rubbish to the tip & similar dirty/smelly jobs.

Think you find they are, the difference comes from different manufactory, like mine goes two thirds of the width of the car and then connects to 2 plates near the wheel arch, these plates are the same distance apart and the same gage of metal, these plate sort of shield the spare tyre
