hi all im sure quite a few of you already know or know of me from FCF, BXC,F, ( same UI ) CCC forum ( Malcolm ), and obviously in various fields about the country,
Sir Jim ( citrojim ) suggested i register over here
as i was just on the phone to him regarding a G reg 2.1 Auto XM im going tomorow to try and get started after being parked up since around 2007,
i will start a thread to give a little mopre info

Yep, it was offered over on the CCC website Will.

AFAIK. Auto's weren't offered until 1992, hence the change from Lucas to Bosch diesel pump.
Have you got a link?
I've read it. I can't see it being an auto, whatever the sister says.

Well it sounds like we'll find out from Malcolm tomorrow what it is...
Was said to be a G plate 2.1TD Auto over on the CCC, though. Bereavement sale.
It's in the XM part of the CCC Forum, no link ATM as on my phone... Not much more info about it really.
Edit - you've seen it... Be interesting to see what it is.

i have been told it is Auto,
i have to contact details and been talking to the diseased owners sister who is over from America dealing with the estate,
i will update either tomorrow eve or Monday

Auto was not offered on DERVs untill late 1991, J reg..
I can only think its a later car with a G Plate private reg on it...
Malc get the RP if you can, inside A pillar passenger door....

Hi Malcolm - I too registered an interest with CCC Paul in that car, as a possible substitute to the one I bought in june which is going to need a lot of work. However, as I'm not a CCC member, my interest is at the back of the queue. But let me know please if you decide not to proceed with it. Steve.
