Hello,

I'am new member on this forum. My name is Djordje, (very similar to George) I am 42 years old, and I'm living in Novi Sad, city in northern Serbia.
Sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand.

My grandfather worked in CIMOS, Citroen assembly factory in ex Yugoslavia, and from 1960 till today, we drive only Citroen cars in my family.
In this moment, I'm owner of following Citroens:

C5 2,0 HDi Estate
AX GT Mk1
GSX 1,2 (need restauration)
and of course, XM V6 automatic Mk1

I had XM 2,0 petrol Mk1, but I sold it last year, picture bellow

Welcome to the forum 'George'!!! :D

You have come to the right place. Lovely cars you have, thanks for showing us. I have a 2.1SED auto mk1. And there is a mk1 C5 exclusive hatch in the family too. Same colour as yours I believe.

You'll be in good company with your V6, there are quite a few owners on here with them. Some more than one!

What Citroens did your Grandfather build? Well done keeping brand loyal.

Yes a very warm welcome George and I am one of the early V6 devotees Russ mentioned!! My collection includes two 1990 V6 12v with one manual and one auto and I very much like the look of your car! Please let us have some more photos of the XM in particular and all the other cars are nice too! Also do let us know what work the XM has needed and about any current problems. I am pulling the engine and gearbox out of my auto at the present time and here is a link to the thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4327. With regards, Matthew T.

Hi Djordje,

Welcome! You're certainly in the right place.

The two pictures of your S1 2.0 petrol are . . . haunting . . . spooky . . . just amazing! It looks as if the car has just made a descent from somewhere "out of this world" --- which was probably the reaction when Citroen first launched it. I have saved both pics (hope you don't mind) to my "special pics" album!

Chris

NIce one Djordje! I drove through Novi Sad back in 1988 (I think) when we got lost in my 2cv back there! I like all of your cars, GS brings back memories, great car. Hope you will keep them going! V6 is still something to try for me, though...Good luck with the citroens!
