Thank You!

GS is realy great car, I like it so much. This one I was bought in 1995, from first owner, in exellent condition.

In the past, my parents had 3 GS, brand-new
1970 GS 1015 banana yellow
1974 GS club white
1978 GS Pallas beige (picture bellow), and me when I was 8 years old

Welcome! You're certainly in the right place.

The two pictures of your S1 2.0 petrol are . . . haunting . . . spooky . . . just amazing! It looks as if the car has just made a descent from somewhere "out of this world" --- which was probably the reaction when Citroen first launched it. I have saved both pics (hope you don't mind) to my "special pics" album!

Chris
Thanks Chris! Glad You like them ...!

Maybe is this one also good for your special pics? :D

MTXM wrote:Yes a very warm welcome George and I am one of the early V6 devotees Russ mentioned!! My collection includes two 1990 V6 12v with one manual and one auto and I very much like the look of your car! Please let us have some more photos of the XM in particular and all the other cars are nice too! Also do let us know what work the XM has needed and about any current problems. I am pulling the engine and gearbox out of my auto at the present time and here is a link to the thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4327. With regards, Matthew T.
Thanks Matthew,

I will write about XM in next days. Pulling-out V6 engine with gearbox I have also experienced :D
Automatic gearbox was fail, and I must replaced it by another one, used, but only about 130.000 kilometers. Now it is good.

This picture is for you.

Greece, Chalkidiki 2011.

Many thanks for the further great pictures George including of your XM at the beach and the DS picture reminds me of the XM promo film end bit! The DS dealership photo is amazing!! It was reassuring to know that I am not the only one crazy enough to pull out a V6 engine and box and I am sure it will be worth the effort. My autobox was also needing some attention after about 210,000km and I am hoping a full recon might be possible. I had the other 12v engine out quite recently for head gaskets so I must be a devil for punishment!! Regards, Matthew T.
