Hello everyone,
I’m going to start with a confession-I know nothing about the XM.
However, that will change soon, as without really knowing why, I’ve developed a fascination with them lately.
I love gobbling up information about any car and I hope to do it here about the XM!
I may also be a future owner if I decide it’s the car for me...(but I’m making no promises)
Look forwards to getting to know you all,
Brian

Hello. Maybe you need to see one in the metal and have a walk through everything on them and any foibles
from the owner to see if it's really your thing - try before you buy so to speak. Whereabouts are you and do
you have any particular requirements that would help define what you're looking for?

Hi, that was a quick reply, I’m impressed!
Sadly, I can’t remember the last time I saw one. I know of one locally owned white one by owned by a friend of a friend of friend.
I’ve already done some sniffing around online (I find the parking break and stiff pedals oddly appealing) but I’m yet to have a serious talk with an owner.
I’m on the South Coast, in Hampshire.
I want an estate, I find them more appealing and also have two large dogs...I’m most interested in a diesel and have no preference over transmission (although that may change after driving one).
Cheers!

Sounds like your pretty close to me. Mine is not an estate, but you are welcome to have a look at it.

You are now at the top of a very slippery slope. Once you show the slightest interest they just draw you in.
I'll give you 3 months...

I have 2.5TD Estates and Cars.
North Hants (Winchester).
Alternatively come to CXM at the beginning of Sept.
See all manner of XM's there and chat to owners.

@ Captain Slow.
Many thanks for that. I may well take you up on the offer when I start to look around seriously. I’m in no position to look at buying a car now, but when I am I’ll let you know. Cheers again.
@ xemxclusive.
Annoying I can’t make it, as I’m away the start of next month...just as well, incase I came back with something French with four wheels and 13 panels of glass!
@ dieselman
I’ve already seeked out this forum and have another Citroen site bookmakred...what does that tell you?

@ Captain Slow. I’m the same-closer to the Portsmouth side.
@ Dieselman. I better start stocking up on LHM then...I have a funny feeling I’m a future Citroen driver...
