Welcome Ian,

You're in good hands here if you need any advice.

Have you any pictures of your new acquisition?

Regards

Robert

Hello Ian.
That car sounds like Steelcity's car.. http://www.club-xm.co.uk/forum/viewtopi ... =11&t=1341

Seems like Xm's will be getting common in L'bro. There was a S1 was floating around there yesterday.

Hi,

Yes it is my XM.

Loads of photos here of the work carried out - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7328220@N0 ... 090576577/

I forgot to mention that you don't need to worry about oiling the brake linkage, I had the scuttle off to vacuum it out and sprayed all the linkages with spray grease, removed and cleaned out the washer pipes and jets too. Hopefully the headlamp washers still work, they did in December, if not I found a quick squirt of Silicone lube worked wonders to stop them sticking. There's a CD changer under the passenger seat that I didn't tell you about either.

Steve.
