Hello to All,

Saw some interesting topics here so dediced to join this forum to. I'm a member of the Dutch forum(I'm Dutch) for several years after I bought my Citroen XM 2.1D in the end of 2012. And this car is still in my possession.
Before there was a: AX, C5 Berline 1e gen,C5 Break 1e gen and a C5 Break 3e gen. And a lot of other cars(no Citroen's).

At the moment I'm busy with the last fixes on my CX so it becomes ready for the MOT(bought her as a project car 2 years ago). There are a lot of pictures, could be handy if you will going to do a CX restoration.

Welcome Perry, your English is fine and your sunken garage lift is awesome.

It's nice to see the previous mechanic left you some tools in the Cx headlamp bowl.

Thanks! Because the XM was on her knees already before I installed the lift. Then the decision is easy made so you can always without struggling drive her above the lift. With this lift I can do everything but I wish a had a 4-post lift to. But unfortunately no room for that.

Toe maar, 3 XM's+CX. Ik zit pas op 1 XM+CX.

Maarre vermoedelijk komt er begin dit jaar een 2e XM bij. Dus ik loop in.......

Hmm....i forgot to say, if you have a leaking Lucas Epic diesel injection pump in your XM 2.1D I can help you.

I guess you are right: 1 of my XMs is crashed, another more than a year with Savoy and unfortunately still not driveable (that is an issue), and yes, 1 working! I hope the whiet one will be working soon again, but that has been my hope for more than a year already...

What's the hold up...apart from the obvious, now.

nice xm and cx. How do you find the pit lift. Not as good as two post lift?
I have to leave by shed with two post lift and move to shed with smaller height roof. Is pit lift a good compromise?
