Yes, it's a 1990 build date auto. And yes, they are very rare here. I've never seen one before, as far as I noticed anyway. I know the bloke who sold it new, and he told me it was priced at AU$90k. Ouch!

In relation to the grill, I think it must have been replaced. But I only base that on people commenting that it's a Series 2 grill. The car does not seem to have had any accidents, it's very, very straight.

It looks it. As Matthew has already said. Can be regarded as the ultimate XM. It's how they were known when launched.

$90K...crikey, thats quite a bit. It would be interesting to see the numbers sold in Austraila, and how many are still on the road.
Hope you sort out that interior. It appears the French only did heat tests in the south of France!

No, I haven't sorted the interior. Still getting the more vital issues sorted.

We have lift-off, btw. It needed a new fuel pump, which is now in place and working. Most systems go. :)

Spheres need re-gassing, so I have yet to experience the legendary ride.
