I know of a 1992 2.0si with single fan front panel, which is for breaking.

I'm not sure if the fan loom is still there but will have a look if needed. I've also got an inner rear screen with fixings if you're still looking for one.

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Jon any updates on this??

Hi Ahmad,

The car I mentioned is still available, although it is missing a few bits now. There is another complete 2.0i manual hatchback at the same location, which would probably make more sense as a parts car. They have both been parked up for around 10 or 12 years.

I have also recently collected a S2 VSX CT auto and posted details in the for sale section. The regulator and FDV etc are still available from that car and I've got a few spare headlights too if required.

If there's anything else you need please let me know.

Is the 2.0i an earlier version? If so would it be possible to take the car as a whole?

Out of curiosity, Is it in any condition to repair?

I’ve got the headlights sorted, might need the regulator and Fdv for now, what can I do about them?

The 2.0i was registered Jan 1993 on a K plate. I've not looked at it thoroughly but I know the sills need work for starters. It has been parked with the back end jacked up so probably needs hydraulic pipes. There is no MOT history for it online and as yet the keys haven't turned up. Photo is from February 2020.

If you are looking for an early car as a restoration project I have also got a 2.0Si manual for sale:

Thanks Jon just seen this,

I was hoping to at least get the regulator and FDV from the s2 if anything, just in case I can’t find it elsewhere. Where would you be located again?

For the 2.0i If you could give the whole car, what’s your best price for that ?

In terms of the 2.0si I’m actually excited to hear about that xm, my friend wants to buy an xm to restore too. I’ll inform him of this. What’s that price looking too?

No FDV if it has anti-sink fitted, which being a series 2 it may well have, unless and early version. That was when pumps changed from being seven piston, to six + two.
The FDV splits hydraulic pressure and flow between the main circuit and the steering circuit, a six + two pump uses six for steering, two for the rest.

If the pump is driven by a single V belt it is a sinker with FDV, if it's a flat, multi-ribbed belt, then it has anti-sink and no FDV.

No problem - the car is near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. Based on Will's comments it is a sinker with the FDV. Pump is definitely not a 6 + 2 type, see photo below.

The 2.0i isn't mine so I will ask how much they want.

Asking price for my 2.0Si is £250. That one is stored near Horncastle, Lincs.

Definitely a sinker, can't see clearly, but in that image, the FDV looks to be to the right of the regulator, behind the curly pipe.

That metal, rubber, metal pipe between the regulator and FDV looks useful, unless you have one from a TD :)

Evening Jon,

We’re ready to buy the 2.0si. Can I come to see it on Tuesday after work ?

As for the 2.0i if you could sort me the parts for the Tuesday just for now, and when you can confirm for the car whenever, then I shall plan a day to come and get that if it is good news.

Parts -
- full return hydraulic pipe set
- regulator
- FDV ( if Will agrees)
- Radiator Fan loom (if available)
- back of the car sphere

Hello Ahmad,

I'm not sure I can do Tuesday, I'll pm you my address and contact details so we can confirm things. I can sort out the regulator and FDV fairly quickly but the other bits could take a while.

Is it the centre rear sphere you need or a wheel sphere?
