There are at least three localy, my N reg Silver VSX Estate, the local Citroen engineer, except his is off the road, and when I was last ther he was servicing another XM. I was also woken up the other day as I was driving over the Peselis, by an XM coming the other way, he flashed his headlights but was past before I realised what was happening. I think it was a red hatch, probably not Andrew or he would have posted it here. BTW if you ever do drive over the Preselis, look out for the sheep, no, not for recreational purposes, they are known to throw themselves under the wheels of oncoming cars. Not a problem in a 4x4 but could do a lot of damage to an XM. Kit

 Swapsies?
They do exist then!
So Peter, unless Kit wants to sell it, there's an end to your quest as it's probably the only
silver s2 2.1TD manual RHD estate known of in existence. Kit, you didn't buy it in Dorset
by a strange twist of fate for Peter?
BTW, it wasn't me Kit, I very rarely venture west though my first ever Xm was my grey V6 manual s1
bought from a farm near Fishguard.

It was an Ebay purchase about 18months ago, had had clutch, head gasket and timing belt replaced in the last year so seemed too good to miss. I used the buy it now so it was probably on Ebay for two days only. Seller was in Northampton, I think. Would it help if I listed all the faults? Kit

				Hi Kit
Sorry, misread your the post, didn't realise it was your car. If you are interested in selling I could be interested in buying, depends on the price of course, what sort of mileage has it done, is it a '95 or'96??

Hi Peter, I have been thinking hard about my XM, I really like it but when it is up on the ramp and I can see all thebits that could go wromg, I wonder if I should keep it. It is definately not a car I would sell to a friend, too likely to be the end of a friendship. I was thinking that next year I would try to find a later model with lower milage, mine has 167,000 on a 95 plate. My problem is that I have so many projects on the go that I really should have a boring box of a car, not a Citroen. When I do come to sell I will put it on theis forum. Kit

				Hi Kit
Do you know if its had a new head gasket?. I am on the lookout for a silver one as its the only colour I have not had

I dont mind one that needs attention as long as its priced accordingly. Is the body in reasonably good condition, any rust? I would certainly be interested in looking at it when the time comes. - I seem to remember you said it has had a head gasket - that's in its favour.
