Week away in Cornwall... spotted a few French things around... didn't get a chance to photo everything, but did get a chance to photo two XM's.

Image

That was a LHD 2.o injection car... looking a tiny bit sad... there was a wire sticking out the bonnet for the catch release I assume, and the Nearside (Drivers in this case) door mirror was a little droopy.. the body panels looked a little out of colour aswell.. and a couple of centre caps missing on the alloys.

Image

I also spoteed on the main A road between St Austell and Newquay, outside a village called Menna, a small yard with a Pug 405 and a Pug 605 sitting abandend... looking at Google Maps they have been in the same position a few years. I have Robbed this shot from the Google Camera Car of them...

Than also in a local to where we were staying in Mevagissey Port, in the car park this XM was there:

Turbo D SX... It was gone when we came back later...

Quite a Few xantias about too, even two locally to our village, Goran Haven..

Hi Paul

Welcome back hope you had a nice time. We went to Gorran Haven many years ago, in fact we went to Devon/Cornwall every year when we lived in Kent - now we live in the West Country we go to the north of Scotland or France :D .

Thanks for the pictures, the red Xantia comes from Wolverhampton, hoped to see some Cornish ones there, they end in 'AF' or 'CV' mostly.

Gorran Haven seems like a popular holiday destination!

I've stayed in a cottage half way down the main street a couple of times now, lovely place, trouble is it's only really filled with second homes so very few locals. The way of many places down here now :(

Pleased to hear you had a good honeymoon Paul and there was still time left to spot a few XMs!! That 'G' plate 2.0i was certainly quite a rare sighting! Best regards, Matthew T.
