What about intolerance to pickled eggs?
Or perhaps later to pickled egg eaters.

Im not sure a jar of pickled eggs is something you can eat sober is it? then of course there is the other side of not drinking, you have to spend the night with a group of intolerable drunkards

I'm hoping to get along to this, for the Bletchley park visit; but I'm not keen on bringing my XM (with its leaking Injection Pump).

So; my plan is to get up to London (from Cardiff) on Friday evening or Saturday morning, and then jump on the train to Bletchely and back (to London) on the Saturday.

So it'll probably be a fleeting visit; but happy to meet up with you guys before, during and after the Bletchley Park visit. It's a bit awkward, as the missus won't be too chuffed if I'm away the entire weekend, as I'm away the following weekend :-/

So it'll be short and sweet, and as I'm on the train; I'll have to meet you at Bletchley Park.

Fingers crossed all goes to plan

Sounds a plan Justin - our official time of tour starts at 1:45pm so bear that time in mind...

We plan to leave Little Horwood at 1:00pm or just after to allow plenty of time to get there, park up, take pics etc etc...

Okay; I'm booked up. Getting the 16:45 coach up to London, on the Friday, and stopping with a mate. Will get a "day return" ticket to Bletchey, and am booked on the 21:00 coach back to Cardiff (from London Victoria).

Having looked at the Bletchley Park website; there seems a LOT to see; and I'm not sure 3.25 hours will be enough time for me. I might go on ahead, and take my time, having a look around. If you see a 6' bald chap, with a lengthy beard, feel free to come and tap me on the shoulder ;-).

But will DEFINITELY have an hour or so, after Bletchley park closes (at 5pm). I need to be on the 18:52 train from Bletchley to Euston

So; see yers there

Justin, Wear a double chevron on your lapel... I'm sure you'll see and recognise us with little difficulty... The cars we'll be arriving in might be a bit of a give-away

I'm sure too one of us will run you over to the rally site and back again in time to catch the train home...

I'm planning on getting to Bletchley Park for late morning; kind of depends what time I get up, which kind of depends on how thirsty my mate is, on Friday night ;-)

I appreciate the thought, Jim; but Google maps is telling me it's 14 minutes (6 miles) from the cricket ground to Bletchley station; so would need to leave the rally site at 18:30, so would probably only have an hour there, by the time we've got back to site, from Bletchley Park. We'll see; it's an idea; so long as it doesn't put anyone out.

See you all Saturday

Right then folks - time to get polishing...

Those are the trophies for Best CX, XM and Xantia, and then Roger's Choice, and the Eileen Stearnes Memorial.

There are also rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, as per the X Rally...
