Hi Guys,
it was good to meet faces old and new. Thanks go to Matthew for the rockin' ride in his 24valver, Red Dwarfers (Kev) for the drive of his s2 s.1td, which drives really well and especially to Jim for allowing me to use his sphere tester.

...seeing Will's post reminded me that when we went to pick up the Activa after the Rally, Roger and Will would have seen me with a Petrol Can and putting some fuel in the Activa - a good reputation for the fuel economy of Activa's eh?!!!

I did notice the can... ;)

I gunned my car both ways and reckon I still got over 40mpg from it. 8-)

I do actually know of the whereabouts of another Visa that has been stood under a tree for 26 years and looks WORSE than my other Visa. Mmm...I may have to buy that!
It's got to be done, keep with the extreme rat look though or you might get a reputation ;)

Mike passed on a business card for the Visa forum, I have signed up and been reading through the back story, didn't realise you had cable tied the PA system in place. I think you'd be better off with fitting a small wooden cabinet to slot it in along with a hole for a cup and maybe a few carefully chosen books?

MPG wise, the trip computer in the XM reckons I did 51mpg up and 48 back.

using cable ties to keep the PA system in place is perfectly in keeping with the rat look. Do as you say Kev, and make up a proper box for it is just not on. That's a proper job and they're not allowed on a rat look ;)

Good economy from yours Kev :D never knock a 2.1. They're good.

Yep the PA System compromises of a CB Radio cable tied down to the centre console and a PA Speaker also cable tied to the front bumper. It's only a small speaker TBH with a maximum rating of about 12w from memory and it only cost about a tenner from ebay - it's dificult to gauge if it's actually any good though. When I was driving past you lot and Matt was speaking on the PA System, did it seem loud? I think I may need to invest in one of those huge PA Speaker that you see, that would be quite good. Talking of the CB Radio, it is actually fastened by about 10 cable ties joined together as I ran out of long ones - they're yellow, too!

I'll certainly have to take lots of close up photos of the individual areas of interest on it now it's been seen in the public for it's first time.

I would like to replace/add another horn to it though as even though that one on the roof is big it's still not got the desired sound I'm after. I'll also have to record a video of the Neons working at night - It's some sight!

I've got more ideas of what to do with it, but they're secret ATM as I've got to confirm certain things! :o ;)
