Citroen Conservatoire visit

Hi

Just got back. Some pics that may, or may not, be of interest. Some XM-related ones to follow. (Sadly the lighting wasn't good there, and I haven't got any gems, but I think Robert sneaked some shots of a nice S1).

I went with Tim Leech of CCC BX fame, in his lovely 1985 BX GT, which for a car of such age drove like a dream...

Yes, I took some snaps of a series 1 with a brown dash, and the XM limousine that used to ferry the presidents and dignitaries around.

Ive got an old Motoring Mag - cant remeber which, "Car" magazine I think, and it has a report on this place, but back then apparently it was NOT open to the public.. I guess they have changed their minds, which is a BRILLIANT thing, we should be allowed to see heritage models from the past, especially Citroen models!

Nice shots! Not sure the DS 3 should be included, its not old enough yet!

I don't think is is open to the general public, just that there are the odd visits available to the CCC now and then.

It is open to groups, you have to arrange the visit ofcourse. But if we as a group of XM enthusiasts wanted to go, we could organise a trip there. The chap at the conservatoire was telling me that there were loads of 2cv and DS clubs that go to the conservatoire, hence their over representation in the conservatoire.
