Mark, do you still have the camping pot on mine? My memory is going hazy as to where I left it...

I think it's still in the caravan Graeme. I'll have a good look.

I've pre-booked for Fri & Sat night at Wicksteed Pk. I've re-read their t&c's and it does state that camping/caravanning MUST be pre-booked using debit/credit card. The weather forecast is looking tres fantastic for this weekend. :-)

It was a bit of a surprise to find this out. Must admit...and I too like Mark, read Wicksteeds instructions and it does say to book. Anyway, we are booked in for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday was £10. :D

Quite a lot of camp/ caravan sites require pre-booking theses days. I suppose they get idiots booking pitches and not turning up, so fair enough. Excellent news on the £10 for Sunday Russ. I might just stay another night and take my time heading home on Monday.

That's my plan Mark. I just didn't fancy packing everything up and then having to drive two hours home in this heat all tired and probably moody!

Nicer to do it Monday morning.
Yeah i was quite surprised when the chap on the phone said that...£10 for the night. They treat it as a non peak night, so it goes to £15 anyway. But they still took the club discount off. Nice one!

People have to pre-book? Surely they're not going to turn people away that are looking to just rock up on the the day and want to pitch up.

Not an issue for me as I won't be camping, but what about the people that don't use forums and therefore wouldn't know to pre-book?
