I aim to be there with my red Visa GTi - Link - with all things going to plan. Saying that I have got an XM on the way...

Admittedly not got an X in it, however the GTi's got the XU5J engine...

Visa.... ah those were the days.. the 205 D were out of reach price range, the Visa was the same but cheaper.. I had a Shit Brown coloured one... 1.8 D 4 speed.. do 65 mpg, and go off the clock at 110mph.. and even then the XUD didn't sound stressed... Unfortunally, before I learnt to weld rust took over and she had to go.. I did get another one in Red, another 17RD.. but she soon had to go aswell.. I think a small end had gone, hell of a tap NOT A Valve tap either...

Always fancied a GTi though.. but couldnt find one.

Reading a few older posts I see I said I planned on being there in my Visa GTi. That's a definite no now though, as it's sold! All things going to plan I reckon I'll be there with my C4 Loeb then...

I'd like to take my XM, but I don't really fancy "showing" it with it's odd coloured wing and nose-cone on as they've not been painted yet...
