Embassy cars

Hi
There is a very nice looking low mileage (46K) late (2000) XM for sale on autotrader. It bears the description "ex-french Embassy car". I'm not sure how many times I've seen this in adverts for XM's but plenty of times. So either the french embassy had a huge fleet of cars or this is a dealer "embellishment". Nice looking car though - pity it's in Blue (not my favourite) or I might be tempted (still might be!).
