Series I Dashboard

Post by citroeneer » Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:08 am

Just wondered, my mechanic mentioned that brand new Series I Dashboard is still available in the UK? Is that true? How much would it be?

I can imagine the cost from Citroen in the UK would be the equivalent of buying a whole secondhand Xm
here! (and have change!) I probably have a good used one - getting it to you may be a challenge mind
- it's very heavy!!

What's happened to yours!? Sun damage/splits?

Hi Andrew,

Well the dashboard is good except that its slightly split in the front area where the LCD panel, A/C controls reside. Not so noticeble though.

Good to hear that you have it, maybe will wait when I really need one.

Another issues is my sunroof which has failed. When the buttons are pressed, there's a noise of the motor moving but the sunroof doesnt move. The suspect would be the gears. Any ways to get that repaired?

If it's the cables it means dropping the headlining. I've done it on a BX but never an XM, but I guarantee there's someone on here who has.
