That's weird. This was on my YouTube recommendations last night. So of course I indulged. Good film!

Good find Matthew.
I particularly like 4:45 where we get to see the wonderfully designed jacking points being spot welded!

And the 12v v6 REALLY only 0.3 of a second slower then the 24v v6 .. he quoted.. v6.. 170bhp.. 0 60 in 7.8 seconds and 145mph top speed. That sounds more like the 24v performance

A 12v manual is pretty quick. Auto's are deadly slow.

Well, i'm not sure about that, it's super cheesy...but there is something of importance.
Ok, we all know an XM is great in slalom tests and rides nicely on poor surfaces like cobbles while having good grip, can seat five in comfort and lose the competition down back roads...all this is old news.
So, whats the point of this comment...
Watch the rear shots of the XM closely and take note...this is 1990 car...and the rear light bar is black. If they are anything other than black they are faded.

It's super cheesy. But it's of it's era and shows a lot about the car and it's rivals. The end piece where they show what they have been shooting is quite good.

And then there is the "arty" approach, for the French market...
