@southerner, thanks for the offer. I will try to find a used compressor here in Sweden first. The P&P from UK to here will probably be quite a bit.

Also, I believe there are new/refurbished compressors to be found, for example here: http://www.bildelaronline24.se/citroen/ ... ssor-delar
Sorry, the page is in Swedish... Though I don't know which one fits my car, with my luck it is probably the most expensive one...

I'm also trying to find a used water pump Sweden. Not that I know that I need one yet, but getting another one for a rainy day seems like a good idea right now. I can't really grasp that no new water pumps are available for the PRV V6. I mean, it's not like it was an uncommon engine...

I might be able to get my hands on a water pump for a Volvo B28 / B280 engine. As I understand it that is also a PRV engine. Does anyone know if it will fit the PRV V6 24v?

The PRV water pump is a completely different animal being external and although replacements cannot be obtained it is possible to refurbish as confirmed on earlier threads. With regards, Matthew T.

Which is why I was wondering if a pump to a Volvo B28/B280 engine (it is also a PRV engine) might fit my XM PRV engine. Not that B28/B280 water pumps are easy to find, but I may get hold of one in very good condition. However, I am a bit hesitant to buy it until I know it fits.
