Hello.....

Sorry to be so brazen about this, but could I appeal to you kind souls who also use facebook to share my new Pallas Auto Refinishing page?

The reason is I need to get my xm back on the road, as soon as possible ideally, but raising the funds is challenging at the moment.... My only source of "disposable" income comes through the car work I do, however drumming up business in this economy has been tough as its quite specialised work, so ive created a new facebook page to help support my blogsite.

What I now need however is for it to reach far and wide ;) Ive added a great background picture of a citroen ds I did a while back and there is both my xm and Charles's xm featured on it also ;) I do plan on getting a cx done and also a gs if I can find people who want them doing....I might even do a silly price deal on it to get the exposure ;) And get my hands on such lovelies of course :P If you know of anyone with either of these cars who might be interested, point them my way to talk a bit more about it ;)

In the meantime, if you could help a fellow xm'er get his car back into circulation id be very grateful ;)

Liked. I dream of getting my XM fettled a little, but the cracked bumpers and various dents make it uneconomic! I tried mopping it the other day and it ended up looking about 0.1% better.

Thankyou Will and everyone else. Ive got a couple of cars to do, but they are jobs owed to people in payback for things done for me ;)

Once they are done though the pictures will help generate interest also :)

Hi Vince

I have "liked" your page so it will appear on my FB account and i have a decent following who should see.

I also know a GS owner (also a club member) so will give him a shout to let him know about your offer.

PS. I am getting very jealous of the time and effort your putting into your XM, i tried to do the same a couple of years ago before ICCCR but only managed to get the engine and interior done. Loads to do on the exterior and had problems with the heating system recently, replaced a couple of dodgy hoses but confused with the loss of water and suspecting Head Gasket despite having this done 18 months ago and done little milage.....will see how it goes.

regards
Narinder

Narinda,

If the head gasket is dodgy on your diesel it will blow bubbles into the header tank when the engine is running.
