I'm about to order one of these from euro car parts as It's cheaper than having the old one reconditioned (again).
I've done a bit of googling and it has some mixed reviews.
Has anyone used this brand before and are they any good or is this one I should avoid????

Thanks
Richard

i dont know what the brand is like, but i personally would not buy anything from the bunch,

IMO they supply substandard parts, even it OE lookalike packaging

I too would be wary of any ECP branded product.

What's wrong with the original alternator, everything is fixable.

Its failed for the third time this year and i'm getting a bit fed up of repairing it every time it breaks and its a bit awkward to refit it due to being in a stupid place.
I've ordered one from mister auto which looks in the photos to be a recon valeo unit. Branded as BOLK.
One thing i noticed on the vast menu of alternators available for this car is they all seem to be different. Different output, that varies from 80a to 125a and some without a rev counter contact so I was a bit unsure of which one to buy.
Hopefully this will be the last time i'll have to sort this out.
Why would you both stay away from ECP branded products???

ECP use the cheapest products they can and brand them up as reputable brands they have purchased the brand name for.

Thats interesting, I didn't know that. They usually have 50% off sales so I buy a lot from them apart from 2cv bits, always buy those from ecas.
I'll keep that in mind next time I buy car parts.
