Hi Guys.
My HP 5100c scanner has decided to put a sepia band down the length of every page I scan -- is this curtains, or shall I pressure wash it or something ?? Any thoughts welcome.
Mike.

I find these come in quiet usefull,

you do have to have the full set to be able to make good a repair, i find its no good just having the one, works well on all electrical equipement i find.

Try a cleanup with glass cleaner, possibly??
There could be an invisible mark on the glass ........

Under the glass there will be a white reference strip, make sure it's clean. After that check for foreign bodies in the actual scanner section and give it a blow out with some air duster.
If it still doesn't work the scanner is probably duff.
