Don't know if its just me, but I think the Xm looks abit like a futurist DS,it even has the crease in the bonnet.The sloping back on rear window is very Similar too,hatchback only And in my opinion it much nicer looking than the CX.

There are definitely some design cues that come from a DS. Look at the way the door tops meet the roof and the general curve towards the rear. The roof line drops exactly like a DS.

CX > XM > DS

IMO of course...! I'm not a DS fan - sure I can appreciate how advanced it was for it's time however they don't appeal to me.

There was a design comparison a few years back in a Citroenian that discussed the styling similarities of different Citroens.

Coming out after paying for petrol a guy stopped me and said my Xm was a beautiful shape and one classy car!
Another time stuck in slow moving school run traffic,a group of schoolboys passing shouted, hey mate what is it? That car is sick!

I experienced the same thing several times.

I don't know which one is better looking but I know that the CX is the most confortable one between them. Cx prestige is the next one in my list.

Mine has been photographed, some people have stopped and talked about it when I'm with it, and more or less every drive I take, someone is having a good look. Interestingly, passing other classic cars...pug 205 GTI and a rover sd1 Vitesse recently, both drivers noticed it and had a good look!

Mine has been totally ignored so far but Ireland is not a car land. Only the amount of litres of fuel it can take, has been commented on. I've noticed a lot of people can only afford to put a relatively small amount of fuel in their cars, 20 euro's I see a lot on other pumps next to me.

Again just tonight taking it for a local spin a group of girls passing at the junction said it looks like a spaceship.
