Sorry to dissapoint Dean, but it's an SM, not an XM, though jay loves it.

Did anyone notice that both SM's in the video were European spec as opposed to US spec. All US spec SM have simple round headlamps and no glass cowl over the front, due to DOT lighting regs.

If you want an SM, you'd better have a long garage..they are 17.5 feet long.

Hi Dean

Strange Dean. Clarkson definitely said XM. Perhaps it was a Freudian slip by him. He has mentioned them before as (that overused phrase) future classics.

Also quite a bit in the news saying that the end of an era Aston Martin last item might be an oblique referral to the end of TG

Well i thought he did, but he did sort of stumble as he said it so i guess i was wrong, well i was obviously :D .
It would be a shame if topgear was shutting up shop, its not a motoring program in the sense of the noel edmunds days but as an entertainment show it is just superb in my view, its nice to have someone on telly who isnt scared to be a bit politicaly incorrect and generaly stick two fingers up and Golden Brown and his governments stupid ideas even if he is a bit of a d**k.

He does seem to be a genuinly nice guy though and likes to get his hands dirty, most celebs lets face it are as mad as a jar of badgers but i couldnt see a jar or a badger anywhere in his workshop, and what a workshop  8-)
