Oooerrr
Um... Anyone remembered though with the 24v engine.. a low milage one is a bad thing!! UNLESS theres proof the engine has had the Citroen Cam and follower Mod!!!
Otherwise there will be issues later in life when the Cam eats the followers... Think it happened from as little as 15k to 50k...
If however it has been modified with the later I beleve Ceramic followers there be no issues!
Nice collection.... and improoving all the time.
Did you by any chance make the ICCR Citroen Rally over here in the UK last year??? That was an event..
PS: Whats the device on that car just forward of the Dipstick, a circular device with a pipe or cable comming out of it....??
Has yours got that Mathew??

As this is a very slightly later model would it have already have the mod Paul? I am not sure what the device is as mine does not have one, but it looks like a vacuum to me so may be retro-fit cruise? There are a few other extra wires and other mods around the engine bay I noticed! With regards, Matthew T.

Wrong place to have a cruise bellows surely? Unless it communicates with the throttle body via a proper bowden cable.

Saying it again, it´s NOT my car !!!! Dont saying I dont wont it tough,,,
The extras is a cruisecontrol and a alarm installed, not so proper done but it how they did it then,,,
This engine is modified from factory as it a little bit later model, that´s what I been told.
How much do you think this car is worth "worldwide", he is thinking about to sell it, he wants to sell it in Sweden, but if he not getting so much money in Sweden for it maybe he will sell it somewhere else.
One owner before him, documented mileage and served, extra rustprotection to.

the s1 24v models have a small following and a large wants Que... they can get good money over here for original rhd ones if it ends up two enthusiast want it.. a mate sold a 1991 model with low ish miles though i forget now , but the car was virtually immaculate too , the price he got was around the £2,000 UK pounds mark.. so that 19,000 mile car or what ever it translates too could be worth a bob or two.. for the UK.. shame the steering wheel is on the wrong side but that doesn't always deter or put some people off over here..

It was interesting to hear about the retro cruise and alarm installed Lundin and wow what a question about the value!!! If the car was auctioned internationally on ebay say with the right starting price, as ever you only need two people that want it and the figure could rocket. It is obviously very difficult to value on account of the relative rarity and in this case the super low mileage and clearly nice condition, but then again XM are not everyone's thing! If it was mine and on the market here I would not sell for less than say £3,000 (3,500e) at least. Do let us know what happens with the car. With regards, Matthew T.
