What a lovely colour and a very early car.

what a unique colour. I have never seen one that shade before. Clearly it is a Europe only colour, never come across it over the pond.

Certainly a really interesting example and I wonder if it will sell for nearly £5,000! I think the colour must be Graphic Metallic. Regards, Mathew T.

Certainly a 1988/89 car.. No sunroof as per european cars, no wood either, and as early V6 12v's were offered not auto either... also No electric arm rest either!

A nice colour - is it Grey, or is it more Bronze? I broke a Bronze/Brown Mk.2 a few years ago. DVLA had the colour down as "Unknown" ..

The only colour that looks remotely close in the 1989 and 1990 catalogues is 'Graphic Metallic' Paul although it is not one I have seen before! Regards, Matthew T.

Like the name Graphic Mettallic. It is certainly metallic brown....or Coffee maybe!

They certainly seem too. I think XM prices are generally quite high in Holland.

Did you know the XM mostly sold in Holland? There are still a good few, lots of them with very high mileage, worth noting. Some good specialist around there as well.
Off topic : did you know I drove all the hydraulic citroens but NEVER looked at the XM? Strange, now I have 2. Honoured to drive one today cause of the frozen roads, I didn't want my other half in it. Missed the abs
