The first impression was marred by just buying the C5.
Fuel was apparently an optional extra and not provided by the seller.
Hope you get on well with the C5 Peter, particularly you now know what it takes to make it go.

Hi Robert and John

John had no doubt read the account of my day on FCF but I will give you a brief outline. It was advertised as a 2.0L LX, not really the spec I wanted but the right engine, it actually turned out to be a 2.2L and an SX - which I did want but as I got it for £300.00 with three months tax and five months MOT I decided it was worth the chance. I just got on to the M5 and it ran out of diesel although it was showing some on the gauge, anyway once I got going I was quite impressed with it until it informed me that the DFP fluid was low!. It needs a new set of tyres and one or two other things like the drivers door doesn't like opening from the inside, but for the money I don't think I can complain.

You can't complain at that money Peter.

Hopefully the next 3 months will be a lot less eventful than your first 3 hours!

Yes sorry Paul. I have been offered £202.00 collected from a firm at Bristol and they will take the scrap one as well so that will more than pay for the C5. If you really want it you can have it for £100.00 but you will have to come and get it, its taxed until the end of the month but it really is abit of a heap. I will probably scrapping the white one at some time in the future but it might pass another MOT, that's due in June.

Hi Paul

I think that is a bit unfair on Peter.
He offered first with little sign of takers.
I think the take bits off still applies.
