Evening Folks,

My MOT season has started for 2011. First candidate was my Blue TD Auto. Thankfully she passed with no comments from the tester. Nice and handy. The next one will be the G plate 2.0 Si in May. Its a delight to MOT, it always passes :D :D :D

And for some reason photobucket is being an arse and not scaling the images correctly. :x :x

Did you polish it for the MOT? :D Mine have always been in the summer but the 406 ran out in February, not so good if you have to do work on it - which I did :( The XM has probably only done about 5k since last year so hopefully will be OK. Glad yours passed anyway.

Yu should've bought another XM Peter....I took mine on December 28th, but it didn't matter as I didn't have to work on it...

It needs polished!!

We have to wash them underneath as well! I'm actually in favour of washing the underneath, it gets rid of all the salt and crap, and the traces of any leaks that the Citroen suspicious testers don't like to see.
I took mine on December 28th, but it didn't matter as I didn't have to work on it...
My favourite cars!  :D

I have been looking for one for the last couple of years - gave up and bought the Peugeot :( The XM still runs out in the summer :D

That's a very nice color Robert. And good condition alloys too.

Thanks George,

Its nice to be back in that XM again. Changing gear in a Xantia this past few weeks has been a chore. How are you getting on with your Xantia?

Peter, sell the 406. Cambpell (Messerschmitt) is selling his 2.1 Manual hatch, and at a good price too.

Hi R

The HDi Xant is doing well (well...): only driven it on-off as it's been at the indy so often. Last thing it got 3 new front spheres and the height readjusted. This week, the fan went full speed and so preparing to change the transistors. Otherwise, impressions are overall good or very good -but quite a different drive from the 21td XM.

Have not even whashed it yet, XM had (dire  ) priority last week; when I do, I'll stick a thread in here with impressions...

cheers
G
