Here is a nice video taken in the Rennes la Janais factory on launch of the Xantia in 1993. We eve get the odd glimpse of Xms being made too.

Hi Robert, that was an Interesting Video, with a few XM's in the camera shot's !

But after watching the /\ I picked up a link to one aptly named THE LAST XM's & THE FIRST C5's

It look like these XM's started there life standing in a field before they even left the factory :cry:

But at least Citroen had got the fate of C5's correct :lol:

Very interesting, those robots are amazing, I wish I had one of those contraptions for turning it on its side, wouldn't half make repairs easier. We got lost in Rennes on holiday - never saw that place though.

:lol: :lol: My first thoughts were, ohh good they're crushing C5s. Pity they made more than they crushed. :D

My goodness!

I damm well knew It was jigs for lowering the bodys onto the assembled subframes and pipework.

Its soo much easyer to get those damm exhaust bolts off the manifold when the body is out of the way..

brill Vid... All those sinkers being produced.

Those guys in the orange overalls reminded me of the Ready Brek advert...
