I don't think that's an XM though......possibly a Xantia.......?
If it wasn't for the chevrons on the front, I'd have said it was a Ford Sierra/Granada or Vauxhall Carlton.......

You sure? There are a couple of shots from 58" where it looks very much like an XM -- wider at the front than a Xantia and same shape. And it's certainly not a Mk2 grille.

It's a Xantia S2. I can understand what you mean, but it's too small to be an XM in all the shots too.

The badge has been removed from the grille. Also the interior shot of the guys sitting in the back, you have the large grey panels covering the C pillars, not the nice rear quarter light window.

Its a Xantia!
Its not SHARP enough to be an XM. and the jeadlights are rounded at the grill side..
Xantia S2!

Id bet my XM SED on it..

Just a bit of fun! Talking of XMs in films obviously there's Ronin, but my green XM was in a movie too! I'll dig out a freeze frame or two.

Damn, Damn, Damn. That one's definitely a xantia...just look at the A pillar, C pillar and door mirrors.
Rummaging round for a shot of an XM in the film...
