I don't know what the problem is, it looks like a nice set of wheels to me.

At least with all those badges, people will know what you're driving (from any angle).

Yes, it definately looks cool.

It's just the engine that's the problem for me.

I just prefer something with a turbo.

But I think I've found the solution to to that problem:D

Almost there now :D

It just needs one more thing...............

Well, it looks like the seller has got sick of this one hanging around (it's been on ebay for months).
He's put it up for bids.....£250 at the moment.

It will be a nice car once all those badges are removed, it even has aircon.

I'm not so sure with that statement coming from the seller's description, as in photo #9 you can just see one of the rotary knob's rather than the full A/C touch control panel !

Some of those oddball SXs had full aircon despite having the rotary controls, that green one I had last year had this particular configuration.... with the AC activation button being mounted in front of the Sport Mode switch?

It had the dual zone heater that Peter loves :D

I've messaged him to ask him to post a pic of the air con controls. I think he's confused it with climate control.

Re the badges I once saw a white XM in Bristol with horrible brown "special edition" type decals which were definitely factory fitted. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if this was one of those lame attempts to spruce up late-run models that some car firms go in for. Admittedly the citroen emblem mid-boot looks retro-fitted. And does it really say 16V in italic script on the side?Lordy.

bet its a genuine halford italic 16v badge too ;) they will all come off ok though and i too think that underneath it all is a nice little car.
