EVN is now my only remaining car and has been brought back into daily service. Uncle is driving me about and he loves driving the XM more than his 65 plate Peugeot 308.

It's good to hear your disposals have gone well, Ray.

No surprise on your driver liking the drive of an XM, they are a very interactive car.

EVN drives really lovely Ray, one of the best rides of an XM I've ever experienced, it literally does glide!
Much better than the C6, for example.

I think you should keep it on the CX spheres :D

Must get my pics of the weekend online.

After a couple of episodes of refusing to start, the glow plugs were changed yesterday under my supervision by a non mechanically minded relative. We managed to get 3 done, the one behind the fuel pump can wait until a friendly volunteer assists. Or my left hand returns some use to me!

EVN was also treated to 4 x very minimal part warn Michelin energy savers last week, a steal at £30 each with 6/7mm tread on all of them.
2xnew wiper blades and I’m on the look out for some decent body panels.

Hiya Ray. Did changing just the 3 glow plugs do the trick? My van badly needs new ones and I'm putting off doing them because of the weather!

When the time comes I hope that I can find some used Michelins like those.

All the best,

LG.

Well done Ray that is great news and ready for the off!! My gold car just failed on the ABS light, which I eventually found was a dirty contact on the ecu multi-pin connector, with advisories on the back brake pads (severely worn) and exhaust (slightly blowing). With regards, Matthew T.
