As if it just came out of a showroom!
cheers
George
ps. I just love the reflections of light on the big angular panels of the XM! The dawn or early eve really make a show on an XM.

Sorry should of said in my sig, its got four pedals, although the one on the right isn't connected to the engine properly like it was in my S1 2.1 SD

I'm waiting on a friend to have some spare time and help me spray a new OS front wing and blow over the front bumper. (it's a completely different green at the mo) Had a quick lapse of concentration and caught the front end on some railings.

In my defence the lapse of concentration was caused by very scantily clothed ladies

Fashion has a lot to answer for!!

No my friend Dale did the spraying, I just did the removal and refitting of the panels (while he was spraying the panels I was fixing the leaky diesel pump). He used to work for a taxi firm in their repair shop, so has quite alot of experience with panel spraying. (especially Xantias) We both met at Physiotherapy with a broken leg each but thats another story.

Very happy with how it turned out, quite a good colour match to. Looks slightly more bluey when the sunlight catches it right, but I suppose thats down to the age of the rest of the paint. Still got a sticking boot lock to fix so its not all sorted yet, is an XM ever though?

DONT FIX THE BOOT LOCK!!!!! if everthing is working it knows, and it usualy rebels in a rather spectacular fashion

It does look nice though, theres not many about that would stand up to close up shots, the black plastic part of the bumper is letting mine down badly but yours look perfect.

HAHA, I'll be leaving the boot lock well alone then. The diesel pump was enough of a pain, I certainly don't need a job like that again for a while.

There are small imperfections and rubs on the bumpers, they are far from perfect, they just don't seem to show on the photo.
