Alas I am selling my Citroen XM Exclusive in Burgundy with Black Leather interior.

Even though it's a fabulous car and has just passed its MOT, the cost of childcare means it has to go.
I feel very sad about it but that's the way things are at the moment.

That look like a very nice example of an early S2 Dan and good luck with the sale! The colour and trim are especially appealing and the 2.0 turbo manual is a good combination. Regards, Matthew T.

Thanks Matthew. I am already regretting selling but will have to come back to a XM in a couple of years once nursery fees are out the way.

So, it sold, then I received a poorly-written message through:

"i want to cancel this sale..i am sorry for the trouble this as caused you .i only found out that my grandson had bid on it and thought i would pay for it .being i am 76yrs old he cant have from me thanks derek hutchinson"

Argh! I'll have to relist. Find it hard to believe a child would be bidding on a 20 year old Citroen...

But with a 76 year old grandfather, it might not be a "child"

I can understand bidding on a digger, but an XM?
Perhaps a sophisticated child.

I was in a local town last w/e and a child pulled his Mother round to the front to see what car it was as the rear badges are missing. This w/e I noticed a couple of Boys with their Father also having a good look from their car behind me.

Maybe the child is a young teenage.

Turns out the grandson is 31!

In that case I would expect the sale to be concluded.

As a seller on eBay, the customer is always right alas!
