Relay clicking/buzzing, randomly . . . Try gently touching the indicator (LH) stalk up and down. If buzzing changes, then the LH stalk switch (lighting, indicators...) is wearing out. Replacements readily available, Citroen and Ebay.

A strip and clean should fix it. The reason is because the grease becomes contaminated with copper filings, so conducts enough power to energise the relay.

Thanks. Is it a wheel-off job to remove the stalk? Not touched an airbag wheel before.

No.
The shroud covering the levers splits into an upper and lower half (5 Torx screws from underneath).
Release the column lock and pull fully out and as low as it will go.
Lower shroud cover drops away.
You can now work the upper cover out.
Stalks are fixed with two screws facing you.
Unclip (press small block on centre side) and remove the wiring plugs.
Stalk will now pull out sideways.

The notchy steering issue has been getting a lot worse recently. Didn't take long to find the issue...
Guessing it's been a while since this car had an LHM flush/change! The one ruptured sphere it had probably wasn't helping matters. I've never seen such mucky filters before. Got the petrol out to improve things.
And now she's riding high once more on a bed of hydraflush.
I still need to find time to bleed the brakes. I've run out of time today due to that work stuff.

Flithy!
Do bleed those brakes, as it will get the flush right through the whole system into the brake caliper "deadlegs". Recommended order is RR, RL, FR, FL.
RR will shift the largest amount through the system.
About 1-litre in total for the bleed.

Thanks. I'll try and get that done. Might even fit the rear pads I've been meaning to fit for the past 15,000 miles. They evidently don't wear down very quickly, but may do now I'm towing a caravan with it...

Its Bendix so bleed at the two points on the ABS valve block before bleeding the brake lines.

What's the best way of accessing the ABS block for bleeding purposes?
