I am very pleased with it, the performance is great, even though I have only been able to drive it on back roads.
I wish I got the damn thing for £50!
Of course as with every XM, there are a few foibles and characteristics, the most notable being a missing headlamp washer cover, broke electric window cables x 2, and hoomped dot matrix.
The other problems are with the fans, both cooling and interior blower. The car has no air con either.
The cooling fans came on as soon as I stopped the engine, I took the relays out to avoid flattening the batteries. The interior blower wasn't working either when I got it, but after investigating it today, an inline fuse was missing. When the fuse was replaced, the blower worked, but when the ignition switch was turned of also.
I had a similar issue with the cooling fans staying on after stopping with the 2.1, a new relay cured that one, so hopefully the same will work for this car.
Any suggestions as to why the interior blower is staying on before I wire it to the ignition switch for supply.
