Not yet! Still using ours although there is a Welsh pound coil with a leek on it. They have their own petrol though. Comes from dragons apparently...

Well, another uneventful weekend in YBL saw her visit Exeter, Higher Spence, Heathrow and London. I am on my third capital city in as many weeks with the car and now her slight hesitation on starting has been cured, she's running on veg oil. Five gallons hit her tank on Friday to take it up to the 3/4 full mark. She runs, starts and stops with no problem on the cheap stuff and it is good to know the cost is sub £1.20 a litre now for fuel.

Picked up an exhaust back box and centre section and will arrange for the garage to fit it soon.

Cracked the screen on friday with a stone chip - which is one way to get rid of the milky corners.

RNM was started for the first time in a couple of weeks this morning and she rose to the occasion - her tank is full and she needs a little bit of running before her MoT in a month so she will be pressed into service this week from tomorrow (Dispatch is being used today).

Have a sunroof cassette to collect in Stoke soon in three weeks, as well as a few other choice XM spares from a friend who broke one years ago and kept the bits. Primarily S1 and S1.5 bits but the sunroof cassette is the same regardless.

Yet again an uneventful week in the Forest.

Niggles and issues to sort are low, fun factor is high!

YBL is in the garage for a new exhaust on Thursday - looking forward to it being even quieter than normal. She has a loose connection to the dash as the illumination was off until I lightly tapped the underside of the dash, when it all came back on again.

RNM needs to have a new tyre on front offside. Now I have finally worked my way through all of my spare wheels and tyres, it is time for the alloys to be reshod! Do I go for the wobbly web or S1 Exclusive alloys this time?

MoT time is looming for RNM too - it's about four weeks away and I worry about the sill on the driver's side, where someone careless jacked it up and bent the mount. Otherwise, she is a little smoky (part cured by running on 35% veg.) under heavy acceleration.

I know the feeling Campbell, mine is due this month. Thinking the last week of May. Exactly the same thing i'm worried about too, the front drivers sill...that and my ABS light and message is now back on.

So much to sort out this month.

Mine is bent over too, since I bought it. It hasn't been a problem with the NCT. The car came from the UK and I think it was MOT'd with it there as well although I can't be sure. I would be surprised it would be a MOT failure.

I think it's more what damage it has done to the sill joins and what it can encourage....ie Rust!
