Thanks chaps.

RP number-wise Russ it's actually quite close to Dean's Prestige - 5694 is the number which is 11 June 1992 whilst Dean's is 5678 and 26 May 1992...!

The finish is lovely on the paintwork I must admit - it'll look even better once it's clean (!) as it got rather dirty on the way back...

Better pics to follow in the near future...

Ahhhh.....So they were built in the same month. Mine was 22nd June and so is Charles's SD.

Good year 1992!!

Thanks - it's called Cassis Nacre. Only know of two other CXs in the UK finished in that colour...

Franklin, where are the promised extra shots of the repainted xm? Black with black leather is my favourite too...my brain is watering at the thought

I must admit Vince that the XM hasn't turned a wheel since it got back the other day...!

Christmas festivities have got in the way and I can't see any progress being made to the Prestige certainly until the second week of January...

In the end I decided to stick to the original grey as opposed to colour change to Black, keeping it original. Still nice, though...!

So that must mean I have the only other one thats Cassis Nacre then Franklin? I didn't realise it was that rare a colour. And my daughter refers to it as Ribena!

Apologies Marc, I thought I put "two others" in the sentence and not "two"...!

But including yours there are three that I know of...

Not surprising, as Cassis is Blackcurrant in French.
