2.1 td bolts are a pita.. One is simple the other is virtually impossible... The 24v one is more central and over a bit thereforexa bit easyer to get too..

Yea you will.. Ill take off the inlet air pipes... Lol.. Proper induction noise!!

It was good to hear you have the exhaust cracked Paul but what is that bandage around the mouth of the rear bank pipe! Regards, Matthew T.

^ Heat proof tape. Presumably to stop heat transfer into local components.

Regarding splitting taper fit joints, often a plitter isn't required, just some sharp clouts sideways on the joint and it will part.

I can only assume its heat protection as will says..

Always been and being stainless manifolds always will be..

I can only assume its heat protection as will says..
That is interesting Paul as my 24v manifolds do not have this feature but are indeed stainless steel as you state. Regards, Matthew T. PS. There is a metal jacket type heat-shield around the pipework not shown in this photo.

The original metal heat shield should extend to the manifold pipework outlet Paul so your must be partly or completely missing I guess! Regards, Matthew T.

Apparently Citroen only fitted the manifolds as stainless from factory but Peugeot in the 605 fitted a full stainless system to their 24v 605s ....

But Citroen got the better styling and suspension! :)

It's strange how two cars that are quite similar end up with different parts. But they weren't built in the same factory, so maybe it was a supply thing.

Same floor pressings which peugeot continued with into 607 production and into 2000.. Right up to 2005 or so.. And same fromt subframe on 607s too....
