White Cx's can look very nice, here's mine:

I personally feel the Cx at Ace Cafe appears to have a few appearance issues?.
BTW, I too have a manual V6 SEi in gold and think it's one of the nicest colours for an Xm

They do look great in white, as does an Xm.

On looks its a close call for me, i think id probably lean towards the Xm, but i do very much like the CX.

Im a S2 person though, CX and Xm i like both in the later S2 design.

Now here's the thing. Fill a room (or forum) full of owners FOR THE SAME BIG CITROEN MODEL
and there'll still be hot debate about which model variant or colour (or both!!) "is better than"
the other one's owned by fellow enthusiast owners.

I love the sharknose D and really like the D Safari. I love the chrome bumper Cx yet in many
ways the s2 is better so I'm 55/45 biased towards the s1: estates are even more difficult to call,
I love all Cx versions!! Xantiae look better to me in s1 mode and I'm far clearer and definite in
my liking for the series 1 Xm and feel the plot was lost with the s2 even when there appear to
be many improvements (well, to many here that seems to be the case!).

So this all makes me look like a series1 man (Ds excepted) whatever the model - certainly
where Gs and GSA are mentioned, though I can even, (are you listening here Chris!!! ;)) cope
with the previous generation C5 end of line facelift whereas I cannot be in the presence of the
first C5 version!

Hey, they're ALL Citroen and that should count for something; "mine is better than yours"
will get everyone nowhere but let's all agree, the Citroen 'way' is better than the alternatives!!

Sums up well my feelings on the matter. Vive la difference!

If I had the time, space and money for someone to look after them all, I'd probably have a C6, S1 XM, S2 CX, Gs or GSa with the Gs dashboard, S3 DS, Ami 8 or Super.

They are all different and have their own strengths and weaknesses....but..who cares.. 8-)

I'd need quite a bit of the time, space and money things as I'd chuck a few Mercs in the mix as well.

I forgot about the Amis. I fancy an 8 or a Super myself!

That's the thing too; they all have their weaknesses and Achilles heel as much as their benefits
and unique characters but so long as you know what the deficiencies are you can live with them!

DM - Is that 51 Xm's to go with the one you've got - a different one for every week of the year!?!?
Are there even that many still available for sale!? And is the S3 Ds the one with the shark fin
sides and a TD engine available at a dealer nearby now?

Ha ha.. Nooooo... although in it's own right it looks ok.

The DS came in three phases and I mean the latest one with faired in lights. I don't actually like the others..

That reminds me there was the DS rally at Horton last w/e wasn't there. I missed it as there isn't a calendar of events on here.
