Well, spent last week off work, during that time went on my half way meet to Carlisle to collect my latest addtion..Saturday..
1990 H reg 2.1 SED Manual, with dreadded Lucas Mechanical.
Anyway, on my way home, I then suddenly lost rear suspension, then the rear sinking to the floor, this then allowed the exhaust to drag.. however, me being me, was not going to stop on the motorway so drove to the next services... Lancaster Services..
I couldn't see much, but finially found my problem.. The anti roll bar on the nearside, had been catching on the main feed pipe to the rear suspension unit.. this eventually cutting a hole in the feed pipe..
Anyway, a call to the RAC, who them selfs couldn't come out, instead sending out a contracted recover lorry.. flat bed, back to their base in Carlisle.. They couldn't get me home that night, and so lent me a car to get home.. Current status.. Im at home, my car is still waiting relay recover home..
Was looking forward to useing her this week, hopefully they shall get her back to me tomorrow, they said up to 48 hours before delivery..
Ive got the pipe ready to fit, just need a car to fit it to!!
So, not had a good start! Ill be making damm sure the pipe is well out the way this time. It looked to me as though it had been bent out slightly..
