some more progression
Horrible aftermarket tweeters removed from the top of the dash, sadly screwed in but have thankfully the dash is soft up there so should be able to sort it
more aftermarket wiring removed, i think that's about all of it as far as i'm aware
also got the spare wheel down, all tools are present except the wheel brace of course.....original tyre too a Michelin MXL
please see attached the recent photos, as well as a little photo shoot the other day

still no blower, suspect it's siezed, may well take it out tomorrow and inspect it
drivers window regulator still needs replacing, i must admit i've been putting that off as no doubt it will be a faff on
also, no remote locking....it did work, sometimes when the alarm panel was in place but since i removed it nothing from it at all
no interior lights, this is due to a fire in the wiring and it's all charred.....need to think about that at some point
no sunroof openage, probably for the best with how the seals look

The window regulator is easy, lower the window 3/4 and reach round the lower edge of the glass and unclip the C ring holding the plastic block together, then lift the glass and jam it with a couple of clothes-pegs as wedges.
there are three nuts on the regulator and two on the slider mechanism, then the unit pulls out.
I have seen corrosion on the motor connector cause failed operation.
the sunrood outer seal has nothing to do with excluding wter, so if it's not leaking just work on freeing it off and diagnosing any electrical failure.
There is a relay and two micro-switches on the mtor, then the open/closed switch.
Sometimes operating the motor while turning the cable drive with an allen key, can free off a seized unit.

it's rather difficult to lower the window without it operating
i will have to pop off the door card and see what i'm faced with, it's a job i may well attempt in the coming days as it would be rather nice
even to go through drive through's etc
sunroof i'm not bothering with for now, it's at the bottom of the list of stuff to do

The procedure is the same, but prising the glass off the nylon stud is harder due to the window guide being stiffer near the mountings.

really pushed the boundaries today
wanted to see how the waterproofing was.....decided to pop it through an automatic car wash!
it's done an annoyingly good job too
conclusion......slight drip from a door seal, that's it
paintwork really isn't the best, it looks presentable for sure but has a fair few marks so i'm not worried about car washes etc

remote locking was a very easy fix
put new batteries in and it works fine
