Im not yet missing the Nissan as i still have it until the end of this month :)

No the light doesnt come on so i suspect the fuse may have blown for the hydractive? Ill check it this weekend when i get a second ;)

There should be two Vince. F19 I think it was, went on my grey one. And someone went to all the trouble of feeding a 12v supply to the electrovalve to fix it, instead of doing the obvious....

Thanks for the fuse number Russ...typical isnt it...people often miss the obvious..hence why its the first place ill start :P Cant be anything but a fuse, it worked one second and then the next its dead :|

Ill check the remote central locking also as that died some time ago....never tried to get it going again though...being off the road for so long i did wane a little in interest at times

Also one other thing, and this was Jaaps idea and he was right, my boot light switch messed my Hydractive up. As soon as it was disconnected, the Electrovalve worked again. This might not be your issue, but door switches, interior lights ( might just be mine there) and fuses most obvious to check I suppose.

Do you get the orange light or message when you flick the sport switch?

On a Mk2 XM if fuse F19 is blown all the dash clocks are dead only the back lights work.

No I'm not getting any hydractive light on the dash. Everything else works ok it seems. ..it will be something of nothing.

Interesting on the boot switch. ..I changed the lock but that wouldn't have affected the switch I doubt. ..it is in a different place isn't it? ...I haven't looked to be fair : )

I doubt it is that, but just so you know, it's meant to be in a little panel in front of the catch on the boot door sill. Take the trim off (4 screws under caps) and it should be wired up under there.
Mine had it retired into another switch and I found it unplugged. I did the obvious and it messed up the hydractive and interior lights. So something is wrong there. But it's worth checking incase.

Thanks Russ,

Im not touching it until the weekend...i did some headlamp work on her last night.which involved a crash course on how the front end comes apart.

Ive done a yellow lamp conversion on it by removing and yellow filming the inner lens. That way the outer lamps still appear clear which matches the body, i can still run normal white bulbs yet run yellow headlamps :P

No reason WIll other than that i like them :)

I know what you mean on the reduced output, but on our street they actually seem about the same...In any event ive fitted uprated bulbs but im planning on fitting a HID kit after christmas ;)
