Oh, also, what's the white pipe that runs around the drivers side under the wing? Turns into a black pipe as it goes under the car!

That, I believe, is the pipe between the top of the fuel tank and the charcoal canister that absorbs fuel vapours which are later sucked into the engine to be burned...

Excellent work there. It's looking great. I can only imagine the smell of the fluid in the reservoir. Yuk!
I must inspect my front bumper mounts too. I think they are dissolving to be honest. That is for another day....it isn't hanging off.
Are you going to be taking it to any shows. CXM is a good one. You never know as Jim says..it could win something.

I'd love to take it to a show, but only when it's ready.
Plus shows are a bit tricky at the moment, the daughter is nearly a year, so we have to tow along a mass of crap everywhere we go, and the missus is working random shifts atm, so everything needs to be planned well in advance.
Never say never, I will look into them and see if I can persuade the missus to attend, but sadly it won't be for a while, too much to do at work, home and on the cars (I also have a Meriva to keep on top of, as well as several cars to clean regularly!
Been invited to a citroen event this weekend, but sadly can't afford to go now, but we will one time!

Idly prodded the rear wash/wipe button and nearly needed a new pair of trousers as the pump kicked into life, and 5 seconds later the rear jet started to work! It's pointing in exactly the right place too which is a bonus! One less thing to need to buy then, and the wing doesn't need to come off again!

Re: R267 PGF 2.0TCT - Leaks!
Noticed just now that I'm getting my drivers footwell and the gearstick gaitor washed for free!
Somehow, water is getting in through the roof, running down onto the sunroof motor then exiting through the lights. Nothing too major, just a small puddle in the gearstick gaitor. Opened the sunroof (which admittedly made things worse!) and noticed loads of leaves and other rubbish, so hoping it's that.
However, I then noticed a worse leak coming from the drivers door:

Appears to be coming from behind the plastic a-pillar trim, behind the cloth door seals (rubber seal for rear vents removed for this picture) so I suppose inside the car

Any ideas where to start looking for this? Passenger side is fine, and I've only noticed it today, and it's been raining HEAVILY all day. Blocked sunroof drain? If so, where so I go to un-block it?

Re: R267 PGF 2.0TCT - Leaks!
Probably a blocked roof drain. It runs down the A pillar into the front chassis leg.

Re: R267 PGF 2.0TCT - Leaks!
Bingo Mr. Derv!
Skived off work half an hour earlier and popped round my mums to have a look. Opened the sunroof and water cascaded over and onto my seat
Got the wetvac out and cleared that up, then got the water out of the footwell (it filled the footwell during the afternoon, the main reason for the stop at mums to dry it out) Noticed that the headlining in the top drivers corner was soaked. Removed the visor and feck handle, and pulled the lining down a tad and peeked under
Very wet underneath. Got the drain tube out (by pulling it about a cm up and popping it off. Stuck the wetvac on it and heard a schluurp then the motor tone change slightly as airflow was restored. Boshed it back together and tipped a jug of water into the sunroof frame. All drained off nicely, water tiddling out of each front wing.
Random drain tube pic

Sadly the headlining took a bit of a hit, and has peeled away in the corner

Will wait for it to dry then either spray glue it, or find some black-head drawing pins and check for cables. Tucked up under the visor atm
What came out of the footwell. It is very clean now though, one job ticked off I suppose

Left the a pillar trim off so I can check it tomorrow when it rains heavily again, it was running down the back of this before, it was soaked, but again very clean after a quick dry off
Will clean the sunroof frame out properly I think when I get a chance, and hopefully nip this issue in the bud.
