Are you sure they are buckled, that's pretty unusual for XM wheels.

You can get them straightened.

Apparently so. I took them and had them balanced but they advised that one of the front and one of the rear are buckled. They have balanced them to the best of their ability, but they really need repairing. I am just trying to see if I can find any replacements before these get refurbed and I'm carless for a while.

Get another full set, cheaper than trying to repair the ones you have.

Hi Simon,
Personally I would get another opinion as like Will I should think is is very unlikely that the wheels are buckled and cannot be balanced! It might also be difficult (and expensive) to get another full set of wheels in decent condition.

Hi Simon

If you go the repair route I can probably find some temporary wheels.
The only spare Alloys are Monte Carlo's or perhaps original XM Alloys.

I may well take you up on that John, depending on what I decide to do.

I forgot to mention, whilst at CXM I fitted new front trim which has smartened up the front end. Here is a pic from CXM

Great news on the suspension :D Really pleased about that. Makes a big difference to have it all working nicely..

Now you need to have a regular Lexia or ELIT session to keep it good ;)

Very sorry to hear that you have once again decided to sell Simon as the car was one of my favourite XM!! Perhaps you might be interested in my V6? With regards, Matthew T.
