I have been clearing out some old autocar mags and found this write up of an XM estate in their old "caned but able" piece.. Nice pic of a mk1.5 with wobbly webs. So does anyone own J649 RAN? Looked a very nice car when new.
But didn't they all!

One of my decsisions is to either, leave the roof on my L reg as not working, or drop the whole lot and fit one of my working roofs and make sure all drains are clear...

not to worry...main jist is lots of leaks!
Whilst being a pain in the neck, they are useful and nice to have in the summer.
From peering in at mine, and dropping the Renaults sunroof twice, it is an annoying job sorting out the sunroof and all it's bits and bobs. Mind you, at least citroen fitted a plastic tray. The Renaults was metal and extremely heavy to drop down...in the end it rusted it's drain tubes and blocked them.

Drives me mad

My daughters do it all the time. Constantly on their phones. They seem to be able to hold a couple of conversations simultaneously and make some sense of both.
Personally I think it's rude...

I say this in hushed tones

......I seem to have no water or damp in the car..... I think the Ariel WAS the culprit.
I have had no further evidence of water coming through the passenger sunvisor fixing, and no damp headlining or condensation on the backs of the sun visors. No condensation on the windows either. So....now that I have tempted fate...I am very much hoping that is the end to that annoying problem.
On to the next item on the list.....
