If you could Russ, that would be excellent :D

Another good one is the 'Elk Test' in which an Activa swerves at high speed to avoid an Elk or a mock-up of an Elk.

I believe this was/is a genuine test performed on all cars in Scandinavia and to date the Activa still holds the record for fastest swerve..

Here's a post from the FCF about it...

That's the same one that buzzes past an F355 iirc on the same track and is proper nice!

Slightly wider lower profile tyres would be ace with some boot balast and front leightning would be great :) scare some lotus and pork as for sure :)

I have done it! The thing everybody automatically associates with Karate..

I have chopped a tile in half with my bare hand :)

There is a technique to it..

We're preparing to do demonstrations at some summer shows this year and tile breaking is just a small part of it. The demonstrations focus much more on the attack/defence techniques rather than simply reducing a pile of tiles to rubble...

Good show, I've never managed to do this. I prefer to use a hammer :) How is your hand now!

It's fine Jaap :D It's more likely your feet that will get hurt from bits of flying tile. I have a graze on my left foot to prove that but my hand is perfect!

Trouble is Will you can't predict where the tile will snap so it would be crazy tiling I'd be doing..

But then everything I do is pretty much crazy...

Actually crazy roofing as it's roofing tiles we use...

The Activa has gone in for her paint job, the wheel bearing is getting worse and the cooling fans are intermittent..

She's clearly being very XM-like  I suppose I'm to blame for that. I put one of Russ's Club-XM.co.uk stickers in her windscreen...

Or is it because she has a TCT engine

I should see her Saturday wearing her new paint :-D Then it's down to sorting out her little niggles. I'll do the wheel bearings as a pair. It's the LH one that's bad - noise goes on turning right - but if one is about to die then the other one will not be far behind it....

One day that car will be good again

Many thanks to Chris570 this morning for the lift back from the paintshop :-D I was a very happy passenger in a 2.5 XM 8-)

My XM is down with me again for exhaust examination and other minor TLC...

Jim if you get bored see if there is a possibility for an easy VNT turbo conversion for them :) that would make the 2.5 a much more lively beast and increase low end grunt even more to more modern standards ;)
