Obviously.
You seem to have taken offense at my comment. I thought you twiddling a few wires and the horn started working was amusing, as in you made it look easy.

I certainly would sort them out for you Jaap, but because it is now August, the sun has peed off.
You should be able to do it with a UV lamp however. You might simple benefit from cleaning the reflectors.
What do your lenses look like. Post a pic if you can. I'm interested only because you have mk2 and they are meant to be better.

Good job! I now carry updated xenon lights on both XM's. And accidentally have two yellow xenon lights. They looked green at first...I haven't really tried driving with the yellow ones yet. Liz thinks they look great but I have to actually drive it in the rain and see how they are. I am thinking of at least cleaning those plastic lenses or maybe leave them out but I don't know if I disturb the light beam too much with that.
Anyway, too much work hey, have done enough time on sorting Turby Diesel last week. The diesel now has the original xenon bulbs I already had on Liz's car but with two new ballasts. I don't know how you make those pics in the dark:)

I shoved my Ipad in front of the lights Jaap, and it seems to self adjust. Quite clever that!
Yellow lights look cool. Infact all the early publicity pics of XM's seem to have yellow bulbs on the high beam. You get a nice hint of yellow in that part of the light.
I don't think they work that well though yellow bulbs.
It certainly is a good idea to maybe clean your lights inside if you can. You do need to be careful of course, but it might help boost your lights that bit more.

I had yellow bulb caps on the CX. They did look cool on it. The light amber tinge in the lights made the car look more alive. Driving at night was interesting, all the road signs went yellow. and the output was poorer.

Thankfully Liz does not drive too much in the real dark, only about 1.5 month or so.
I will try and take a pic of the yellow lights later!
But the yellow Xenon is not worse than the normal H1's that were in there.

Been to Stratford Rally today. Good event, not huge but pleasant day.
I believe I have met the new owner of the Mandarin G reg that was for sale on Facebook. Anyway. There was a G reg Mandarin one there which I haven't seen before. Very very tidy car. It is a 2.0i. So I have told him to join the forum and introduce himself, which he intends to do. He is also planning on attending CXM on the sunday. So hopefully you'll all get to meet him and the car.
Another early car saved.
I would post some pics, but I didn't get round to taking any photos. Sorry! Shameful. Though I think Franklin will post some up.
Bloody gearbox is still making this annoying sound when changing into 4th. The fluid is spot on and still red. I think I am going to have to do another fluid change and see if that helps. Otherwise I am lost. If anyone wants to experience it at CXM, then all to glad to oblige!
