What an excellent idea, a shared estate. I like it! How very useful.

Hope you get better soon Jim.

Thanks Paul, and Russ :D I am and all thanks to some lovely restorative sunshine over the weekend..

I can see the XM estate is going to be handy. Especially with the WFA projects currently on the go at the moment.

Yesterday was a sad day as we discovered that fitting an ES9 into an RX-8 is nigh-on impossible. A conversion to am MX-5 engine is now being investigated. It's one that's recognised and much information on doing it abounds. I'm sure the XM estate will be ideal for collecting a donor MX-5 engine and gearbox at some point...
..

The ES9 engine is now destined for somewhere else ;)

An AC-Cobra Kit car that’s being built by one of WFA with Citroen Hydractive suspension!

The ES9 is in place of a planned Rover V8...

It's going to be quite a car Russ. In fact we joke that the C in AC now stands for Citroen as is getting ever more Citroen stuff in it. A while back we broke a Xantia for all the suspension components and much else...

Hi happy XMer's!

It's very gratifying to see that the BX Club stand being appreciated - we worked very hard on that and it really paid off. The 'carpet thing' met with mixed reactions on the forum because of the outlay, but I pushed for it and in the end everyone agreed it was worth the dosh - we all just chucked a few bob in the hat and now we have it for future shows too - so a sound investment.

The fabulous XM was indeed conspicuous by its absence from a show about the great and the good of the classic car world - go for it chaps - you were missed! :)

Best

Paul
